Here is what Nissan has in store for the 2023 model year. It incorporates a redesign for the Z sports car, the all-new electric vehicle known as the Ariya, the uncertain future of the Titan/Titan XD, and much more.
2023 Nissan Altima
For 2023, the appearance of Nissan’s Altima is upgraded with new wheels and an exterior redesign comprising the brand’s new logo and LED headlights. The paint options have also expanded: Gray Sky Pearl and Garnett Pearl Metallic. The inside of the midsize sedan gets a new 12.3-inch touchscreen system that comes standard on SL and SR trims.
2023 Nissan Ariya
The 2023 Ariya is the second all-electric trim featured in the brand’s lineup. It has an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 304 miles, but only when it has been fitted with front-wheel-drive and the more sizable 87.0-kWh battery pack. It has a 12.3-inch driver information unit and an infotainment system with a 12.3-inch center touchscreen. Advanced driver-assistance technology is standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360 and ProPilot Assist. Specific to the ProPilot Assist is the ProPilot Park system, which permits the vehicle to deal with steering, acceleration, gear shifting, and braking to help direct the Ariya into a parking spot.
2023 Nissan Leaf
While debuting the Ariya, Nissan discreetly paid attention to the automaker’s original electric vehicle, the Leaf. The Leaf has encountered a mostly exterior redesign with a simplified trim lineup, which consists of the S and SV Plus. Up front, the headlights, grille, and bumper have been altered. In contrast, other body elements have seen changes for enhanced aerodynamics. The new Nissan brand logos have also been inherited by the vehicle, both inside and out. There is even a new appearance to the wheels on the SV Plus, as they now have a 17-inch alloy arrangement. The interior of the S trim receives a minor refresh with new cloth seat upholstery.
2023 Nissan Pathfinder
For 2023, the midsize crossover SUV will be launched with a new Rock Creek trim level. It has a rugged design meant to appeal to off-roading enthusiasts. As such, it is constructed with an improved front grille and lower bumper, a slightly lifted suspension, standard all-wheel drive, and classic 18-inch all-terrain tires. As expected for a vehicle geared toward off-roading, the V-6 engine receives a jolt of power to 295 horsepower. The trim’s interior is also distinctive compared to the original Pathfinder because it contains Rock Creek nameplates on the center console and the seats. In addition, it is fashioned with orange stitching, cloth, and vinyl upholstery.
2023 Nissan Titan/Titan XD
The Nissan Titan is not a forerunner in the contentious rivalry of the full-size truck segment, so it is unclear whether it will exist for much longer. Nonetheless, for the time being, the automaker has made some updates to the vehicle for 2023, like a few minor equipment modifications. For example, the Platinum Reserve and Pro-4X trims are currently equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay as a standard feature. Additionally, Nissan has made the 2023 Titan available with the Midnight Edition package, which includes a black exterior and interior design, along with black 20-inch wheels.
2023 Nissan Z
Finalizing the 2023 Nissan lineup is the brand-new Z, the automaker’s rear-wheel drive sports car. The new Z is based on ideas from previous trims but also provides a look into the future with an updated interior and enhanced technology. For example, there is a 12.3-inch information unit and an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen for the driver to take full advantage of. The vehicle is available in the Sport and Performance trim levels, ramped up by a 400-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine.
