New 2021 Nissan Rogue Details Leaked
The news of the 2021 Nissan Rogue is not new, but leaked images of what to expect are. Earlier this month, a larger, more massive and boxier Nissan Rogue was discovered. The exterior design shows off a more aggressive design than its predecessor. For the grille, the 2021 Rogue will include an even larger and more pronounced version of the V-Motion design. This design was found on other Nissans, featuring the company’s new logo that we first saw on the upcoming Ariya concept. The leaked images of the upcoming compact SUV also reveal a new split-headlight trend pioneered by the first-generation Nissan Juke. Other changes are noticeable with the upper lighting elements near the hood are LED daytime running lamps, while the headlights are mounted a bit lower on the front fascia.
More Design Changes To the Nissan Rogue
Nissan has gone all out to improve the look of the Rogue. The front wasn’t the only part of the 2021 Rogue to see enhancements also. Consider the differences as Nissan has crafted the Rogue to appear more upright than before, which makes this compact crossover look more rugged. This move will also allow for greater cargo space as well. The Nissan Rogue used to offer seating for up to seven, but the third-row option was removed in the U.S. market for the 2018 model year. With Nissan providing a more square rear end, we believe Nissan will bring back the smaller jump seats to help improve seating and help families that require more space for carpooling. A closer look at the taillights reveals a design similar to the unique Nissan Kicks, allowing the Rogue to gain a touch of flair with the 2021 design.
Differences Inside the 2021 Rogue
The various photos found in the leak are of the Nissan Rogue Platinum. The Platinum is the premium trim level. As on other Nissan models, the Rogue Platinum looks to receive brown interior accents across the dash top and windowsills. The appearance of quilted leather seats with brown contrast stitching is apparent as well. A tablet-style touchscreen has been added in with the current Nissan interior designs. This is not too different from what is currently offered with the Nissan Sentra, Kicks, and Titan. If the Rogue has two rows of seating, it will be very spacious, which isn’t surprising since the current Rogue offers an interior that’s roomy enough for four adults. We expect this to be the case.
When Customers Can Expect to Drive the 2021 Nissan Rogue
Nissan has assured everyone they intend to debut the 2021 Rogue and see its production before the end of 2020. We are not confirming this alleged leak as fact, but it appears to be legitimate. The current-generation Rogue can be found on many automotive best-selling lists worldwide and is still a prized vehicle. Just take a look at what the Nissan Rogue has to offer. When the next-gen Rogue does debut, we see no reason why the new model won’t remain on best-selling lists. Curious to drive a new Nissan vehicle?
