Nissan Leaf Continues To Sell, Boosting Nissan Sales
Nissan has reported a total number of vehicles sold in the third quarter of 2021 to the tune of 188,289 vehicles. The all-electric Nissan Leaf has seen a 22% increase with 2,345 vehicles. The LEAF has grown year over year. The Leaf has gone up to 10,074 vehicles sold for the year, which is 105% year-over-year. Nissan previously saw the LEAF sales continue to grow during the second quarter of 2021 as well. The perks for opting for the Nissan Leaf are apparent for the current model year or the forthcoming 2022 model year; fantastic fuel efficiency and a solid brand name since its debut in 2010. Ahead of its time, the Nissan Leaf now offers an even lower MSRP price point as the LEAF S trim comes in at $27,400 MSRP (Plus destination fee). The next project Nissan is taking on is the release of the Nissan Ariya, a brand new EV crossover that aims to be the focal point of 2022 for the brand.
The Next Focus For the Nissan Brand
Nissan is attempting to carry the top spot in the EV market with other brands still playing catch up to the Nissan brand’s EV aspirations. The Nissan brand is also tapping into the sports car market with a brand new 2023 Nissan Z sports car being noticed on public streets around the world. Those who love Nissan and its Z vehicle will love its twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that provides 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. This is a stronger and more agile product than the previous Nissan Z that offered 68 less horsepower and 80 less lb-ft of torque found in the 370Z Nissan car. The next-generation Nissan lineup is starting to take center stage, even a rumored all-electric Nissan van is in the works.
Nissan Has All the Segments Covered
On the mantel that has been created by Nissan, between the Nissan Z, the LEAF and the upcoming Ariya, the goal is to gain new customers for the next generation. The core of buyers who supported the brand across its vehicles like the Maxima and Altima, they might discover their chance to drive a car is restricted in the industry, except for the Nissan brand. They can still find their choice of cars or SUVs, but now with the EV additions in the past and upcoming future, Nissan will further support their loyal customers with more choices than ever across a sleuth of segments. Even the 2022 Nissan Frontier, the brand’s top-flight pickup, has an all-new entry set to make waves upon its debut.
We’re more than pleased with the additions granted to the current Nissan Altima and hope to detail all the perks awaiting our customers here at Nissan Ellicott City. Nissan is ready for new clients to join the growing fandom in the United States as the brand looks to change the direction of spending towards these new vehicles.
